I had a chat with Hannah just a few minutes ago, and it led me to think about this. I'm actually curious which books I remember reading and would consider my core reading material. So, I'm going to just start a list and see what ends up on it.

Core Literature:
Twenty-Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne
Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne
Robinson Caruso by Daniel Defoe
Gulliver's Travels by Johnathan Swift
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain
The Jungle Books by Rudyard Kipling
Gilgamesh by Herbert Mason
The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien
The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien and Christopher Tolkien
The Oath by Frank Peretti
The Hunt for the Red October by Tom Clancy
Siddartha by Hermann Hesse
Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe
Where the Red Fern Grows by Margaret Simonsen
The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood by Howard Pyle
Hamlet by William Shakespeare
MacBeth by William Shakespeare
The Archeon Conspiracy by Dave Hunt
Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl
Charlie and the Glass Elevator by Roald Dahl
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Of Mice and Men by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw
Star Trek: Voyager - Homecoming by Christie Golden
Star Trek: Voyager - The Farther Shore by Christie Golden
Charlotte's Web by E.B. White
The Testiment by John Grisham

Hmm... I know there's probably a few books missing from this list, but so far, that's what I've got...
