Credit Cards and Their Evil...

I have a credit card for a sole purpose: emergencies. The only time I've used it is to pay for my class books. The only problem is that I have no idea how to pay it off... I'm sitting here with a check that covers the entire amount and I have no idea how to get it to my credit card... I feel so small...

if the check is made out to you, then cash the check and get a money order, call your credit card company and get the mailing address for payments and write your account number on the mo and include a note with your name, address and account number and that the mo is payment in full(pif).
if its a check for the amount but not made out to anyone then write the name of your credit card company and call and get the address to send the payment.

unless of course you have an envelope from your credit card company for payment then just submit the m.o. in the return envelope with the return slip. and write the account number on the check.
writing the # on the check more than not ensures that the payment will be applied correctly.

i used to work for a credit card company in customer service, credit and collections...

any questions and just ask.

I think I understand... I just have to figure out when and how I'm going to get a money order...

Also, I do remember who you were... :)
