For those of you obsessed with Viggo Mortensen, and know that he has a new movie out called Hidalgo, I found out a little bit of information that might be of interest.

Working down here in the computer lab can be a little boring at times, so I have to get up every now and then and walk around. Since the computer lab is in the basement of the library, I was browsing around in some of the books down here. I came across a book entitled "Hidalgo: The Mexican Revolutionary"...

I haven't opened the book up yet, so I don't know what it's about, but just the title alone is intriguing. I'm actually curious how they're going to get Viggo to look Mexican (though I don't know if Hidalgo is actually Mexican or a foreigner who shapes Mexican history). And in case you're wondering, it was in a non-fiction section of the library, so it's clearly historical.

Anyway, aside from easing my boredom, I thought it would be of interest to post... back to work...

Uhm, the names are a total coincidence. Viggo is playing an American cowboy named John. His horse is named Hidalgo. And the movie takes place somewhere in the middle east, presumably Arabia, in a desert called "The Ocean of Fire."
