Boredom Has But One Name... Help...

Yeah, so my work study is at the help desk in the computer lab. Today, I have a three hour shift. I swear, there's nothing quite as boring as sitting here. I sit, I check my e-mail and then I check all the sites I visit normally, and it's only been fifteen minutes.

Oh, well. I'm not trying to give the wrong impression about my job. This is one of the best ones there are. I get paid $7.75 an hour and I have 10 hours each week. I'm also in an element that I understand a lot, so I'm comfortable with the work.

My problem is just that not that many people call or ask questions in the lab. I suppose that will change once mid-terms start. So, it's essentially three hours of me wasting time...

I've found that singing helps. When no one is down in the lab, I'll usually just sing something. A few nights ago, I was singing the Phantom of the Opera (extra points if you can draw the connection).

Anyway, I'm posting this mainly for my amusement and time killing...

I started singing the main theme between Christine and the Phantom, simply because it's such a difficult piece to sing. That and, I'm down in the basement of the library, so it kinda fits... a little... except that I'm not seducing women into the computer lab to sing for me... not that I'm aware of, anyway...

You should get Finale in there and write kick-ass music during your shifts. I imagine that'd kill a lot of time! And it'd be... well, kick-ass.

Cool that you've got that program, though. Makin' money while sittin' on the computer? It may be boring, but hey. :P

I suppose I could, but I'd have to install Notepad because it's a school computer and they're liable for what's installed.
