I actually have a lot to be thankful about. Among the things that I have been gifted with all my life - or, at least, for significant portions of it - I can be thankful for several more recent things, as well. Here's a list, since I like making lists:

  • My computer is now fully functional after the slew of mishaps. After purchasing parts after parts and finally a new Windows XP disc, my computer is now running quite well. After all the things I bought for it, it's practically a new computer. It's actually a lot of fun playing with it now.

  • Derek let me check out a laptop for the weekend. I got it just in case I couldn't get my computer working, since I need to work on my HUM 410 paper. It also has a DVD player in it, so I took the opportunity to watch some movies, since I need a DH(?) converter for my DVD player to work on my TV.

  • The closing afternoon of The Good Doctor was our absolutely best performance in the whole run. It was magnificent.

  • The DVDs of the play have already been given to us. We were mostly expecting a month or so, but they've already come. I only wish they had recorded the final night, instead of the Student Preview. Oh, well.

  • I'm thankful that I haven't been run over yet, crossing Division. There've been a few close calls lately - especially during the run of the play.

  • Following Sunday's performance, a group of us - Paul, Karla, Kirstie, Pat, Dan, and I - went and saw Inspecting Carol at ART, since Tyler was acting in it and, both he and Alex, had worked on the set. We got free tickets because it was a preview show and we dropped Alex's name - she told us to say we were with her.

  • I still have a job. Since I had taken off two weeks of work to do the play, there was already tension concerning it. Some speculation by a co-worker - who speculated to Wes, my mom's husband and also a co-worker, that I might have been replaced - led to a bit of a scare for me. However, Wes talked to the new supervisor and confirmed that I still had a job to come back to. I'm very thankful for that, especially since I've been low on cash for two weeks, given my expenditures with my computer.

  • I talked with the admissions staff at New England Conservatory, concerning the application fee. Since I hadn't been working, I wouldn't receive a check until Decemeber 8, and had to spend so much on my computer, I was getting a little nervous about my ability to pay my application fee by December 1 - the application deadline. They told me that I couldn't do the internet application on time without sending the fee, but I could send off my application by mail a little late - not much later than December 8 - and they'd still accept it.

  • My debit card arrived about week or two ago, so no more question whether or not the ATM machine will read it.

  • I'm having a full Thanksgiving dinner at my mom's house. I was asked to boil the eggs, which I don't think I've done before.

  • Troy and Martina are here from California for Thanksgiving. I should get to see them in a couple hours.

  • I managed to convince MAC - aka convince David - that it was worth it to invest in upgrading Finale from 2006 to 2007 on the Music Tech Lab computer.

  • I found that Iona has a MySpace and a new CD, which I will get when I have money.

  • Anyway, my family is here, so I have to go.... Adieu!
