It's Like a Video Game!

I had a rather interesting experience tonight. If you've ever played Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, you know how you often have to trade items for other items to get other items which you can trade for other items, etc., etc., etc....

Well, Liisa was asking around for a rolling pin. I personally don't own one, but I thought, since Jeremy has lots of utensils he might have one, so I told her to wait as I went and checked. Luckily, my hunch was correct and I was able to let her borrow his rolling pin. Fast forward about two hours, a parade (to exaggerate a little, since there were only four of them) led by Liisa come to my door holding things behind their backs. Kari (who was one of the four) returned the rolling pin and Liisa presented a piece of blackberry pie. Apparently, they needed the rolling pin to make a pie from scratch and, since I had loaned them the rolling pin, they gave me a piece. So, in return of returning the favor of the favor of loaning the rolling pin, I did them the favor of washing the dish immediately after consumption and returning it to them.

Game over. :)

...Pie? Now that's the kind of Zelda I'm talking about. ;-)

It's a good thing there was no fairy yelling "HEY LISTEN!" every 3 seconds in your tale, my friend... Because it might not have ended well ;)
