Old Journal 50

Today is Wednesday, January 19, 2000. I have a lot on my mind. Life has gotten really complicated. Just in case I haven’t mentioned this before, I’m now enrolled in Arts & Communications High School. My cousin Brady is also there, which is cool. I’m a little behind in all my work, but otherwise, everything is going great. I’ve written the first part of a novel. I written several (namely four) poems. Plus, I’ve created my own web-site. But, with all this cool stuff, I’m still having problems. I’m depressed, for one. I still can’t get Kristy out of my head. I’m dealing with so much crap, it’s not even funny. Jason...oh dear God...this is the doozey...well...in short, relationships are not going well. The whole moving deal with him just became a major disaster. He used us, to put it simply. We had thrown our money to the common good, and it just ended up getting Jason everything he needed. So, now we’re stuck in an empty apartment, with all our stuff still in California. Why did this have to happen? I mean, couldn’t there have been another way? Couldn’t we have saved our relationships? Or were there none to begin with? Why do I still want to be his brother, even though he screwed us? I just don’t know. Well, since it’s a new school year (even though it’s half over), my friends are; Spencer (last name removed for courtesy), Jeremy (last name removed for courtesy), Joe (last name removed for courtesy), Karen (last name removed for courtesy), Diana (last name removed for courtesy), Erik (last name removed for courtesy), Jeff (last name removed for courtesy), Dan, and possibly Gina and Brynn. It’s a nice school. It’s, obviously, dedicated to arts and communications. Only one small catch...since it’s a liberal school, a lot of the teachers tend to be very New Agey. It’s difficult to be a Christian at that school. There’s even a “Pagan Club”. It’s very discouraging. Oh! I’m also sort of a soundman at my New Life (just in case I didn’t mention that, when we moved up, we joined New Life Celebration Center, where my Uncle Corky is at). My birthday is in nine days! Okay, I guess I’ll try to get some sleep now. Good night at 3:15.
