Just remember that the music for your play should be simple and lively. The participants are ACTORS not MUSICIANS. So don't make it like all your other confusing stuff.

In most cases, I agree, but I'm fortunate in the fact that those performing the music are music majors, and vocalists (including myself), but I have no desire to torture. The harpsichord music will be done on the computer, so there's no need to worry about that.
