Last night, my mom and I went to Radioshack to reactivate my cell phone. Only problem is that there was so much red tape concerning addresses and all that jazz that I wasn't able to get it last night. So, we're going in again tonight to try again. Hopefully, we'll have better luck this time. She's also going to take me grocery shopping, which is something I've needed to do for a while.
As I'm working on my Gloria, I'm beginning to wonder how well it's going to fit in with the rest of the Mass. It seems to stand out a little. I'm not going to scrap it, but I'm thinking that I may want to finish it later as a seperate piece and do a Gloria that fit better into the context of the rest of it. Either way, I'm still having fun write it. In other composition news, I'm going to be writing the music for the play. Since Moliere didn't quite include music with the songs he threw in his script, I now have to go in and put something together. I get to write music to some of the most ridiculous lyrics (short of P.D.Q. Bach) and I also get to write harpsichord music. I'll have fun with it, though.
