Today, I've recieved two job offers (one I had to turn down and the other in which I accepted). Before I say what the first was, I should probably make mention of the fact that my family is moving. We are leaving the apartment that I lived in throughout high school. Actually, I'm not too concerned about leaving the place, since most of what I do now is over by Warner. So, we're moving to a house that's closer to the campus. Technically, it's actually campus housing.

Anyway, the first job, that I turned down, was a night shift position at the Minit Mart near my current house (the one I'm moving from). I turned it down because I wasn't going to be within walking distance of it anymore and when I had inquired about it beforehand, I was unaware that we were going to move.

The second job is a workstudy position at the library. Fifteen hours a week (for three weeks, at least). Makes things pretty easy for me. Since I'll be close to campus, I don't have to worry about transportation, plus the application process is considerably less difficult than walking around the area getting applications from random stores and such. So, I accepted the job and put in all the paperwork necessary. Training starts tomorrow.

On a side note, I went to a Chinese restaurant today (which has really excellent orange chicken) and I was amused at what my fortune cookie had to say: "The heart is wiser than the intellect." It also gave me Powerball numbers, but I doubt I'll use it, so if anyone's bored enough: "8 19 21 36 41. 11"

So that's what those numbers are! They always confused me.

Night possitions at 7-11's and such are dangerous due to the high rate of robbery... I made Evan turn down his offer from 7-11.
