PA

Today was the day to find out who made it, as far as PAs for next year. I, unfortunately was not one of them, so I'm a little disappointed about that. I'm not so much disappointed that I'm not able to be a PA, but moreso disappointed that it seems to be a streak of lost elections. What I didn't realize about the process was that a form went out to everyone about which people they'd want as PAs...

I don't know what it is, but I've never won any election I've ever been in. I could refer to Abraham Lincoln and say that he never won an election either until he was made president and he tried a buttload of times before that. In all honesty, though, I don't consider myself a Lincoln (or that I could live up to that kind of a legacy). It's just rather discouraging for me.

Anyway, I need to stop sulking about it and move on. There's always next year...

How many elections have you lost? What offices were they for? Perhaps it would be in your best interest to run for president next time.;-) I can see why you were disipointed that you didn't win this time, especially if it was something you really wanted.
There is always next year though....

I've run for Ohana (homeroom) representative during my sophomore, junior, and senior years, ran for student body treasurer my junior year, and student body president my senior year of high school.

Oh. I'm applying to be one of those too, as is Keven F. I am crossing my fingers majorly. Big time finger crossage.

I might also add that I also ran for choir sergeant at arms, but since the position didn't exist, it didn't work out to well...

Smile! ^_^

People always vote for people that aren't great for that position, but one day they will see how great you are really. Keep your head up and just keep trying, never stop because you didn't succeed once. sorry I should be telling you this, but good luck.
