A Mess, a Mass, and a Miss

So, today has been interesting. This morning (at exactly 3:33 AM), I woke up feeling like a huge piece of flem was lodged behind my ungula (or however you spell it) and every time I tried to spit it out, it felt like the ungula was blocking it. Plus, it hurt mildly and when I looked at it in the mirror, it seemed one hemisphere was a bit swollen. I did what I could to relieve it and went back to bed, but I've been dealing with it all day.

Also, I managed to work a little more on the Credo of my Missa de Clementia. I made a change that greatly improved where I could go with the piece. Instead of piano, I've switched it over to an organ with flute stops. It sounds very cool and I'm getting really excited to continue on with it. I've also started fleshing out ideas for the Sanctus as well.

In other news, today was the Common Day of Service, here on campus, which meant that I got a day off from classes (well, almost... all the day classes were cancelled, but night classes were still on). Much to the dismay of Jeremy Orange (not actually his last name), I used the first part of the day sleeping in. After that, I went to the Music Tech Lab to work on the Credo.

Tomorrow should be fun, as I'm expecting dinner guests in the form of Bridget, Melissa, and Rebecca. Should be quite enjoyable. Currently, it's very late (I started this a while ago and only finished now that it's really, really late), so I'm going to bed. Good night.
