This Composer Thing...

The Bourgeois Gentleman is going well so far. Done with the first weekend and now I have no rehearsals for this week (praise God!). I need to make a little correction about the showtimes for next weekend. There is a performance Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 PM, as well as a Saturday matinee, that I forgot to mention, at 3:00 PM. I'd really like to see those of you out there that would be able to make it (and if you're in another state or country, I won't be offended if you can't make it :P ).

Also, the choir had a rehearsal with Novum and the orchestra for the Fauré Requiem last night. It's always fun singing with Novum, so I really enjoyed it. The piece is coming together fantastically. Oh, if you want to come to that concert, it's on April 24, at 3:00 PM. You can get directions to the campus via the college's homepage. I would definitely be glad to see people there, especially since my Kyrie will be performed as well.

On another note (no pun intended), I composed another piece for another friend's birthday. She really likes seventh chords, so I tried to add as many as I could. It sounds really cool. I've uploaded it along with all the other songs that I've talked about (that sound decent) onto my SoundClick page.

I'm having fun with this composer thing! :P
