OMEA Conference

I got back from the OMEA conference around 4 PM today. It was a really cool experience. No plans on becoming a teacher, but the conference did give some new perspectives on what I'd be doing in the future. Should I ever decide to conduct an orchestra or lead a choir, I now know things that I'll need to do as such. I also attended a class about vocal warmups that I found invaluable as a musician. The presenter went through the biology associated with warmups and burst a lot of myths concerning the voice. I highly enjoyed it.

I'll probably end up going back next year, but still as a volunteer and not a teacher.

Fun stories, but too tired to go into too much detail.
