Concerts, Concerts, and More Concerts...

Went to the Portland Baroque Orchesta last night. I must say that it was quite excellent. Not only was the music awesome, but the performers were great. During one of the songs (which was about war), the cellos started "shooting" at each other. It was pretty hillarious. In the first song, one of the violin players started acting drunk and then the rest of the orchestra went played that section of the piece in a dissonant key. Also hillarious. The bass and oboe soloists were simply incredible.

After the concert, the group that I went with (consisting of David, Craig, Tiffany, Lance, and myself) went to the Montage. David had to leave, but the remaining four of us had a fun time. They have some of the best cheesecake that I've ever tasted (that's saying a lot). New York cheesecake with raspberry sauce... (*drool*)...

Anyway, I have another concert that I have to go to at 3:00 PM. Plus, tomorrow is Tiffany's birthday party (which is going to the Oregon Symphony's "Broadway Divas" concert). A lot of concerts this weekend. If I had the money to do this all the time, I could easily see this becoming a habit. Whether it's good or bad will reveal itself in time or by the lightness of my wallet. Oh, well.

Anyway, I better rest up a little before I go to the concert, so adieu...
