My Personal Views About Politics in General

First off, you (the person(s) reading this) didn't cause me to write this. I know that as the elections draw near people start becoming charged about their political views. I figure that since I'm a citizen of the US, I'd throw in my two cents.

I don't like Kerry, Bush, Nader, Pero, or any of the politicians that have run for anything within the last decade or so. My reasoning for this is because of how politics have evolved in our country. Our society has turned politics into war. It's turned into picking sides and making the opposing side evil. It doesn't matter what side or how right or wrong the other side is or anything else. It's turned into a feud, much like the Hatfields and the McCoys. Our society has forgotten why the parties exist in the first place. Instead, we use them as platforms to launch attacks against the "enemy". Choosing a candidate is no longer about who is the best for the job, but rather, who does a better job trashing the opponant (like shit-flinging monkeys).

This evolution has only picked up in intensity and I fear for the consequences it would have on our countries future. At the rate it's going, within a few generations, our country will decend into a second Civil War. It could be Republicans vs. Democrats, or it could be Liberals vs. Conservatives, or whatever rift that has been developed in our country. We are nearing it at such a rapid pace. Such a war would make Iraq vanish in shadow.

Being President used to be such a glorious thing to want to be. Being President used to be something that every kid might dream about. Now, being President means being hated by half of the country, always avoiding scandal at any cost, dealing with broken budgets, trying to keep the approval rating high, and preparing for the next election day when you have to try and win at any cost, just to do it all over again. Where has the President gone? Where has our country gone?

We verge on collapse...

Politics.....Something this shadow does not understand...

Hmmmm.......Ah, a human with good sight. Politics just used to be some foolishness in the background, but now is self destruction. Another civil war will sprout from this, and humanity will begin to fall apart from petty things such as politics and weight, with age and intelligence, as well as friendliness and kindness. Being president is hell, but it is how I view things. There must always be a leader to make the big decision and take blame for failure, for humans never want to take the blame for stupidity, despite anything. Jobs also are no longer for those who do them well, only those who trash the other.

It has indeed become the poison of humanity, but the true cleaning of mankind is yet to come.....

To gain power, you have to be a good celebrity. It's not about your capability as a leader anymore. Democracy is beginning to crumble. Into what, remains to be seen.
