Banquet... and the Day After...

The Spring Banquet was a lot of fun. It was in this really cool ballroom on Yamhill and 9th (I have no idea what it's called). The food was okay. Probably could have been a little better. The dancing was fun. Got to dance with Tiffany (since she was my date), Noel (she was the one I went on the White Trash Bash with), Katie (one of my Knights from orientation), and Brynn (one of the girls I had asked to the last Banquet, which I never went to).

I'm finding that dances are becoming more and more enjoyable. I think it helps when I actually know everyone and don't feel like an outsider as much. That's one reason why I like having a date though; to get rid of the outsider feeling as much as I can. Anyway, since I pretty much live with these people, I don't feel like there's too many people I don't know well enough (for the most part).

Tiffany, Troy, and I left a bit early because Tiffany wasn't feeling too wonderful (she still isn't, unfortunately). We were going to go see a movie, but the theaters were closed, so we ended up going back to my house and watched "An Ideal Husband". Tiffany spent the night and I slept in Troy's room on the floor. I think I'm still a little sore from that. Normally, it doesn't matter too much, but I think I just slept wrong.

We came back Sunday morning, had brunch, and then went and helped Gary a little on the set for the play. Tiffany and I left early (because we're both not in great condition). She got a quilt and set it up on the A.F. Gray lawn and tried to take a nap. So, it was a bit of a relaxing day, until she remembered that she had to be at work.

Anyway, I'm a bit sore and tired and still heavily medicated, so I think I'll leave it at that. Sorry folks if you were looking for a heavy philosophical rant today. I'll try to get one or two in when I'm feeling a little better.
